"I purchased the Sony Bravia 40Z5500 to replace an older Sony LCD TV I had. It amazingly took a mere 5 minutes to get it out of the box, fit the stand, attach the cables and get it going. I have Sky+HD and a Sony Blu Ray player and the picture was fabulous on both right from the start.
The 200Hz motionflow of the KDL-40Z5500 is fantastic, no judder on fast pans and the black is really black. The KDL-40Z5500 remote controls both Sony boxes and the Sky+HD box as well as the TV. I connected to the BBC RSS feed and it works really well. The Sony Bravia KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV is more expensive than other 40" LCD TVs but in my opinion is worth the extra cash"

"The new Sony Bravia KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV a fantastic piece of kit, I have it connected to a Sony Blue ray player and SKY HD both via HDMI and the picture is vibrant, stunning and so lifelike it's absolutely breathtaking.
The set up for the KDL40Z5500 is easy and it's Bravia Sync makes things incredibly easy. I love the PIP and PAP feature's - picture in picture and picture and picture and being able to run photo slideshows simply by connecting the camera into a USB port
The 4 x HDMI ports on the KDL-40Z5500 LCD TV is more than enough - I intend to utilize the internet capability soon - the TV has an Ethernet port for direct connection but I will be using the wireless connectivity where I will be able to utilize Applicast. Settings are easy and very functional, I mainly watch Sport on TV and recommend setting the motionflow to high level - the results are spectacular. I cannot recommend this set highly enough"

"My new Sony KDL40Z5500 was an impulse purchase, replacing my old 32" Bravia which was only a year old. For HD tv and Blu-Ray it's absolutely fantastic. I love it. Must admit though I am slightly disappointed that you can't name the inputs as I could on my earlier Bravia LCD TV. With inputs from Sky, Blu-Ray, DVD, laptop, Freeview recorder it's hard to remember which port is which. Why did Sony remove this functionality I cannot imagine. Other than that I find the Bravia KDL-40Z5500 a perfect TV"
